In the distant era of the 12th century during the ancient Elven Age, the world of Ryyah existed in a state of fragile balance among its various elven races. Each society remained bound by traditions and magical laws that had governed their peoples for millennia, creating a delicate equilibrium between power and restraint, ambition and harmony. The sacred mountains rose like ancient sentinels against azure skies, their snow-capped peaks witnessing the passage of countless generations. In the valleys below, great forests stretched across continents, their canopies sheltering civilizations that had learned to live within nature’s embrace rather than seeking to dominate it.
For generations beyond counting, the shadow elves had delved into forbidden arts with relentless determination. Their libraries, carved deep into mountain stone, contained scrolls and tomes that other elven races had long ago deemed too dangerous to preserve. The pursuit of power through manipulation of the natural order consumed their greatest minds. Scholar-mages spent decades in solitary study, their eyes adapting to read by the faint glow of luminescent fungi that lined their underground halls.
